Role Purpose:

The child protection officer will be dedicated for the implementation an integrated ensuring a strong start to life for children affected by humanitarian crisis in Somalia (humanitarian nexus contribution) that deliver basic health, WASH and Child Protection in Mudug region.

Contract Duration:  8 months

Location: Galkacyo

Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Development, Community Development, social work or psychology, Business Administration and Health.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in working with international NGO’s on protection related work is mandatory for this position. Previous child protection work and background will be treated as added advantage.
• Proven knowledge of the minimum standards of child protection, sphere standards and child friendly space guidance.
