Project Officer: Livestock/Fisheries
The Role:
The incumbent will provide technical advisory information related to animal health, nutrition, breeding, diagnosis, treatment and disease surveillance. S/he will ensure continuous supervision of the overall operations of World Vision Livestock/Fisheries projects in the district.

Essential:
- Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine/Animal Husbandry/Animal Production/ Animal Health or related field.
- Four years of experience in similar position, with good understanding on project implementation.
- Proven problem solving and decision making skills.
- Working with pastoralist livestock communities in development matters, advocacy and governance, gender mainstreaming, children rights.
- Community mobilization skills.
- Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as negotiation skills.
Working Environment:
The position is field-based in Odweyne, Somaliland with frequent travel to Hargeisa office.
